Waynesville is a town of approximately 10,000 located 30 miles southwest of downtown Asheville, and is the largest NC town west of Asheville. Its cute downtown and shopping options, along with its proximity to Pisgah National Forest and the Great Smokey Mountains National Park (and all points west) draw people moving to the area.
